How It Works
Print On Demand
Research has shown that mass production is good for making products in an efficient economic way but it is very poor in terms of waste of energy.
Mass production creates large quantities at once. As a result, products may build up before they can be sold (too many products are manufactured that nobody wants or buy). Excess inventory requires a large amount of warehouse space which costs money and energy to maintain.
Print-on-demand (or POD) is an order fulfillment method where items are printed as soon you made an order. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction and save our planet, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
